I think the laugh track, room setup and wardrobe were all well done. However, I completely agree with your statement. I mean I know it's a porno, but at least make it an actual scenario in which Sheldon would actually have sex with Penny. And with Sheldon not having any desire to have sex for the majority of the real show, a different angle is necessary. Perhaps an angle where Sheldon must "procreate" to pass on his genetic genius. And since he can't make a human clone, he must procreate.
